As a transgender man and a passionate mental health therapist, Camden brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to the stage. With years of experience overseeing mental health services for students and families at a California County Office of Education and serving LGBTQ youth in private practice, Camden shares an inspiring message of resilience, authenticity, and purpose. Through his powerful story of growing up queer in America and transitioning mid-life, he helps audiences discover their own "why," fostering personal growth and igniting hope in the face of adversity.
Raised in a career military family as an Army brat, Camden lived across America and around the world, gaining an early glimpse into the importance of celebrating diversity and advocating for equity. His personal journey is marked by overcoming complex childhood trauma, grief, and societal homophobia and transphobia. Having embraced Post Traumatic Growth, Camden now leans into his authenticity, offering audiences a multi-faceted perspective on personal and professional transformation.

2023-2024 School Crisis Recovery and Renewal Leadership Fellowship Graduate:
The SCRR Fellowship was an 8- month long program that provided intensive training, coaching, and peer consultation to school crisis leaders nationwide committed to recovery & renewal. The fellowship invited participants to not only receive learning but also co-construct recovery and renewal approaches to school trauma and grief, expand the school crisis continuum of care and contribute to the broader field.
